The staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests we had. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from.- The location of the hotel was convenient and close to popular attractions and amenities.
We had issues with the payment and transfer arrangements, which caused some frustration and confusion. The room we were given was not up to standard, with old bedsheets and outdated bathroom facilities.

We liked the arabian style of the riad the clearness and the quietness. Also is near the the central road who guides to Jemaa El Fnaa about 20minutes walk. The breakfast is just fine and fresh

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - providing a glass of mint tea on arrival whilst we went through the check in details. breakfasts were great and varied. although a 10-15 minute walk from the main square, it is well located for other places of interest.
some separation between bedroom and toilet would be good!

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hotel. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and all the attractions. the staff was very friendly and helpful, providing us with great advice and local tips. the breakfast was delicious, and we particularly enjoyed the local dishes. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered a pool and sun loungers, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm weather.
We were a bit disappointed with the condition of the hotel. the rooms were a little run down, and some parts of the hotel, such as the chairs, could use some refurbishment.

Excellent stay at Hotel Calista. The manager Khadija is an excellent host, ensuring we knew how to get around Marrakech. She put us onto a fantastic Hamman day 1 and also helped us co-ordinate a couple of activities. The rooms are beautiful and well presented. The Riad itself is approx 7-8 min walk from the centre of the Medina, in a safe and very quiet setting. We'd be happy to recommend to other travellers.

The Riad is very nicely decorated in a calm area. The staff was excellent, particularly Khadija the day employee, she is a very nice person and a fantastic cook , we had our best meals at the Riad! Also appreciated the help from the Manager Evelyne on planning our visits and how to best enjoy Marrakech.
There was no separation between the bedroom and the toilet, in line with the Riad tradition. It would be greatly appreciated if at least a curtain could give some intimacy. One of us had to go outside the room every time the other one used the toilet, not practical...

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast provided each morning was delicious and satisfying. The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. Additionally, the location of this hotel was perfect - it was very close to the center of the city, making it easy to explore all the major sights. The fact that there was a small shop nearby in the Kasbah was also very convenient.
Not one thing.

The service of the staff was exemplary. The Riad decor was excellent, very evocative.
The bed was very hard! The toilet in the Bouganvillea room was not seperated from the bedroom by a door or high wall, rather it was in an alcove, and not very private.

The Riad is faithful to the traditional architecture and has a beautiful patio and fountain. Very kind service.
Very bad sewer smell in the room due to the problems in the drainage system of the ancient town. Poor room cleaning.
